Hey Trader Joe's Fans! Tell me in the comments below, what’s your favorite food item to pick up at Trader Joe’s OR even if you don't shop at Trader Joe's, what’s your favorite hiking/backpacking snack to bring with you out on trail?
Allow me, Kathleen , to say that you have a beautiful eyes! ,,,,,, Great channel you make, though ! Thank's!
Thanks for the tips…I am definitely gonna use these on a section hike. Please keep making these videos!
Thanks for sharing! The only problem I see with this video and advice is that my average "serving" is about double than the recommended. LOL!! I love snacking! Like why stop at 8 dark-chocolate covered almonds??!?! 😛
I am just starting out! Thanks for your videos and delicious snacking ideas! <3
Awesome vidjeo thanks for sharing
Oh no Im vegan, see you in the next one!
Where are your hiking videos 📹?
I was literally talking to Michelle tonight about what foods we are going to take on our 4-day hike in August, when I told her, "I'm gonna check Kathleen's channel to see if she has any recommendations." I log into Youtube tonight and you graciously uploaded a video for me. Thank you so much.
I love the cowboy caviar salsa from Trader Joe’s. Black bean and corn, pretty chunky. 🔥 🔥 🔥
Glass jar doesn’t work for backpacking though..
Another great resource is from GearSkeptic. Check out his food chart videos for high calorie low weight foods.
In my trail-mix, I like including little Cadbury Eggs Milk Chocolate Candy (the Christmas colored ones). I don't know why but the Christmas colors bring me a little extra joy. I sometimes also like adding the Christmas mint M&Ms. I buy extras during the holidays just for this purpose. I'm not a crazy Christmas person I just like the candy it provides. Also, you should really try dehydrating your own watermelon :).
Love your videos new subscriber here
Love Trader Joe's for hiking snacks! On a recent trip they didn't have some of my tried & true faves so I had to branch out. The new (?) olives & herbs nuts and "bazaar" mix trail mix are both pretty good. I also like the chocolate covered honey squares for if I am not sure if it will be too hot for chocolate. Oh, and mini stroopwaffles & pink & white cookies are also faves in our house. They used to have the best oatmeal cups which are great for car-camping (and not bad for one night backpacking) but they don't have them anymore. 🙁
they have a chocolate covered orange slices that are so good 😛.
P.S. Happy Belated Birthday 🥳!! (saw your ig post)
Another great video! Thanks Kathleen! Hope to see you on trail soon 😊
Great info, I LOVE shopping Trader Joe's, and haven't tried many of these ~ now I'm going to ~ thanks for the recommendations!
Do you have the Natural Grocers store in WA? They have the best bulk options in my opinion, especially dried mangos and even dried refried beans.
Foods that have more water allow you to temporarily carry less water. I do this with apples a lot
Love Channel! STAY AWESOME!
Thank you "Famous"
Why not try making your own watermelon jerky?
Love that mashed potatoes and beef jerky meal 😋
Great video. I should really go to the States Just for shopping food 😅
Thumbs up, but boy did you go fast through your selection of favorites under $2 per serving! I didn’t have enough time to see the information on each product!
Wow, 20,000 subs!
