I love these videos I definatly want to try the macaroni and quesadillas. What kind of pan is the one you cooked the quesadilla on? I would love to get one!
I'm so delighted with these recipes. I want to eat less meat but soya based food makes me ill. Now I have a few recipes to try. Many thanks from Wales 🏴
I truly appreciate these kinds of videos thank you! The recipes were delicious and during this time of inflation, it helped a lot to save some money while having some nutritious food. //From the Netherlands!
Thank you so much for these ideas, Really helpful right now with the cost of food rising but you want to still have nutritious, delicious meals. I love this series that you have done and hope more will follow. 😊
Hello from texas. For the chickpeas roasted how long would I need to put in the oven so that there not really hard or crunchy like croutons? Love y'alls videos
I made the Pattie’s w sweet potatoes (half the carb of a whole white) and added marinated onions and leeks and chipotle seasoning bc I was out of curry😩😩😩. You brought me life today as always! Limes you’re a blessing 💕 I can’t wait to make my quesadillas tomorrow with the rest of my lentils. Who would’ve thought 💭
I just bought a new house, I close in a month. My payment is higher than my last mortgage, so I decided to look at where I can cut costs in my budget and found that I was spending around $700-$800 USD/month on food, YIKES! I am a huge fan of your recipes, so I decided to try a week of your low budget meal prep. I had a bunch of ingredients on hand already, so I went to Aldi (the cheapest groceries in my area) this morning and spent $11.51. I had the chickpeas, the lentils, the potatoes, the carrots, the onions, and the macaroni. I also added on your recipe for creamy coconut oatmeal with stewed berries, I had all of the ingredients for that already. I am excited to give this a try, thanks for the inspiration!
Thankyou my dear you absolutely soothe my soul. Great ideas to bring down our cost of living which has gone thru the roof. I will be making these with my teenagers and we all are learning skills for a good life. Xx many blessings on you
May I add one more positive comment to your, already deeply supported content? I have been a follower of many veg/vegan/sos free etc for a long time and I have found this site recently. Easy to listen to you, learn something always, easy to follow instructions. I will start downloading some lists and plans. I am just one person, so I can adjust quantities. I restrict oil a bit more than you do, I can figure that out. You are just an inspiration.
I got very excited about this. Then I priced out the main ingredients at one of the cheapest supermarkets here in NZ. Total cost (not including oil, salt, pepper) is $110.40 for five meals. This doesn't include breakfasts or lunches or weekend meals and we have a family of four to feed, plus toilet paper, pet food, cleaning supplies, etc. Food prices in this country are outrageous. Don't even consider buying organic… BTW 1 Euro is typically about NZ$2, so we are paying more than 2.5 times the price of food in the Netherlands in this instance. That won't stop us trying these yummy looking meals, thank you. But we'll definitely be avoiding the yoghurt ($14 for a jar of fatty tasting coconut yoghurt). Hummus should do the trick for at least one of the recipes I think and it's a bit cheaper. And I think we need to learn to make our own wraps.
The one thing that irritates me sbout pick up lime is the smiling face throughout the vedio… how a person can smile all the time seems unrealistic and unacceptable….
Im only watching this to cut down meat intake instead of cutting out meat entirely
3 portions of meat per week—- think you can do it?
I tried chickpeas but my tummy did not like it.

Rather than buy it and put it in jars, how about bulk food stores? I think they’re cheaper too

Is knowing how to combine ingredients to create or adjust recipes, something you're born with, or can it be learned?
