Nice try
But the key point to perfect sticky date pudding is to make caramel sauce just before you think the cake needs 2-3 more mins in oven so meanwhile you make caramel sauce so when you take the moulds out you drip caramel ASAP because it needs to get soaked inside. Otherwise sauce will become think and difficult to get inside the cake & it would just be a cake with thick sauce over it.
