LOT OF THANKS TO INTERDUCING MULTIGRAIN CHPATI OR ROOTI.I AM USING MULTIGRAIN TOAST BUT NOW CAN PERPARE AT HOME
Well, Ghee lasts a long time – because it the milk solids have been removed and it is pure fat – the store bought ones last longer than the home-made ones. Open the can and see – if you see fungus on it or it it smells terrible – we would suggest you throw it away – otherwise, it is safe to consume. But if you have ANY doubt, we suggest you not use it – it is better to be safe than sorry :I
If you make a very big batch and will not be consuming it fast enough, we suggest refrigerating it to keep it fresh.
We bought it from India but have seen it at some of the larger Indian/South Asian grocery stores outside of India as well.
Where did you get the insulated stainless steel container from?
awesome! should we keep the flour mix in the fridge or can it be kept out in reg pantry? thanks..
how many calories are in 1 chapati?
can u plz make sponge or some people called yellow cake simple n yummy recipe.
I bet these would be great to cut into strips and add to salad. And maybe deep fry the strips before adding to the salad. 🙂
Can you do gluten free version? That would be amazing if you could. ✌
Jowar is Sorghum.
You can get a little wire mesh and place that on top of the electric coils (on high) and continue the process.
The other option would be to puff them on the tawa – gently press them with a soft cloth or a flat spatula, on one side and allow them to puff while rotating.
Hope that helps.
This works! I have been looking to find a good combination of multigrain roti recipe. Since ragi doesn't taste great on its own, this looks like a well balanced recipe. Thanks. Is juwar same as barley
Great job! I love you two. Such great recipies! Thanks for all of your efforts.
Yes, as per previous comment I have an electric stove and no access to an open flame. Also where would I be able to get a Chapati pan or would a regular non-slip pan work as well?
