Hi doc! I’m prediabetes and tend to have a bit high blood sugar in the morning (100-110) would it be safe for me to exercise in the morning before I eat my first meal if I follow this diet? Thank you!
Thank you for all this info. I started cutting back on starchy carbs about two years ago and adding more vegetables to my diet which I love but ironically wasn't eating much of. Been told to eat more fruit but I know that's not always good either as they are a source of carbs. So, I eat them sparingly but I have never been much of a fruit eater naturally anyway. I can't stand the really sweet kinds. Kiwi is one of my favorites. But, anyway I'm going to upgrade my diet to your info here and you know this is kind of how I ate when I was younger and I was much slimmer. And, unfortunately, young people eat way too many carbs what with so much fast food eating going on. Hope more of those young people see your videos and realize this. I fear what their older lives will be like if they don't as so many are so overweight at such young ages. Also, get PLENTY OF SLEEP each night or day.
Went on keto and was maybe eating 5 grams of carbs per day with veggies, protein,, healthy fats and didn't achieve ketosis and ate 2 meals a day IF and didn't lose more than 3 lbs either…don't have gallbladder…lost it 20 years ago not from stones but it was leaking in my abdomen. From the coconut oil fats caused plaque in arteries. Have high total lipids but low BP. Frustrated! I did hcg drops and lost inches, belly fat and weight and felt the best ever but a year later had cancer or precancerous health issues
I hate not waking up hungry. It sort of pisses me off. In my teens and early 20s I would wake up and eat almost right away. I had a far better healthier and stronger body when I would eat almost right away. So it's all confusing to me and seems like opinions. What if I always wake up at 8am and always eat at 8:15am and never eat unless it's 8:15am. Sounds all opinionated to me. Kind of like politics.
More vegetables? Oh boy. If you eat enough fat and protein, you don't need any bloody vegetables. Quit misleading people with the fiber loading garbage 😫
Thanks! I really love Dr. Bege, I always watch his videos… I want to start on a Ketogenic diet not to lose weight but to feel better. I am at my ideal weight and on the skinny side. What adjustment should I do? I also have 1 gallstone which is giving me some problem at times so going on intermittent fasting might not be ideal for me because I heart IF is not recommended for people with GB issues.
4:21 When you say " hamburger " most people will think, a ¼ lb ground beef patty or 2, between two burger buns. When I say/think hamburger, I think of a half pound ground beef patty on my plate with no bun at all.
3:33 Dr. Berg, are you sure the bacon has to be nitrate free? I get mine with no added sugar. But I'm not worried about nitrates. I think you and Dr. Barry need to have a discussion. 😂 I love BEETS!

If I take vitamins and supplements does that interfere with fasting? Should I only take them during my eating hours?
