For those who don’t know, oranges are actually green when ripe. In the states, they go through a process (can’t remember the name) to basically shock them into turning the orange we know. It’s simply for aesthetic purposes. Americans see green and think “unripe”. That’s why they started doing it decades ago.
Me: "Uhhh…Those 'orange' slices are GREEN."
