‘Sear’ the meat, but it’s not even seared…. Lol
is there a reason why you didnt freeze the chicken raw?
My Mom's award worthy advice🏅
Glad press and seal is where freezer storage is at! My mom told me she preferred freezing serving(s) of meat and seafood with Glad press and seal. Then storing them in large freezer ziplocs with sharpied labels and dates. She conducted a comparison study and now prefers this over vacuumed sealed for 99% of things. The judging criteria was color, freezer burn, taste, effort, and storage quality. Its pretty obvious who my mom thought won. Now my dad does it too. He is a hunter/fisher and my mom eats pescatarian with a heavily korean infulenced diet. So, quite different and they both agree that glad press and seal is their go to. All my siblings do it too now that we have our own homes.
Do you have meal ideas on how to use this meat?
I recently subscribed and have been bingeing your videos over the weekend. Your channel has really helped me. I am a long time home cook, and recently decided to get strict about my workout meal prepping. I'm approaching 50, and need to utilise the time I usually spend in the kitchen, to spend in the gym. I've already written out my personal meal plan, (something I enjoy doing in my spare time). But my old methods in the kitchen just weren't cutting it anymore. I'm glad I found your channel. You really explain everything so well. Valuable information. Thank you 🌺
Jordan, I love watching your videos because I feel like you’re the momma I didn’t have, teaching me how to do all these things. Thank you 💕
I feel like this video just unlocked fear from me. Afraid to cook a cut of meat? Throw it in the crockpot and it'll be fine. LOL
Great video. Quick question 🤔 how long will the frozen cheese last in the freezer.?
I just cleaned my freezer to organize my meat stash and add my new chicken broth i made😊
I freeze it flat in a bag, like the breastmilk bricks.
And i found some already cooked meat that i was so excited to see😆…
Thanks for the tips Jordan
Which model Foodsaver do you have? I’ve been trying to research but still can’t decide which unit would be all around best. I’d be using for raw meat, fresh summer veg etc thank you!
How long does the shredded chicken and ground meat last for in the freezer? And how do you thaw so it doesnt get dry?
My favorite way to prep ground beef is to make in the instant pot!! 30 mins or so, then you can drain the grease and don’t need to sit over a stove ❤️ I also sauté and add taco seasonings
What chicken seasoning did you use?
Why do americans hate chicken skin? You can air fry it and use it as a crunchy topping.
That Hawaiian pork thing looked really good…
At 12:50, you're reaching into the minced garlic container, rubbing it on the meat, and then reaching back into the minced garlic container to grab some more. Isn't that really unsafe?
Quero tradução por favor!!
Wow great ideas and recepies. Thank you!
The only thing, I always wash my meat and chicken before I use them. Just to get all the blood and other things off… but other than that. Awesome.
I love to squeeze honey barbecue sauce on my chicken strips, meatloaf slices, white rice, pulled pork, fried pork chops, beef rice, roast, pork loin slices and (boneless) ribs.
I love plain, seasoned tacos. I can possibly eat 4 normal-sized ones or 3 oversized ones.
The majority of ketchup and the minority of mustard can be squeezed on the cooking beef while fixing homemade sloppy joes. I love to squeeze honey barbecue sauce on my Manwiches, my favorite kind of sloppy joes. I eat my chips along with eating my 2 sandwiches.
I love pulled barbecue pork sandwiches. I eat my potato chips along with eating my 2 sandwiches.
I love spaghetti, lasagna, Hamburger Helper and buttery Texas toast.
I already watched your video, Jordan. 📷
Hey freeb team! I’ve been following since the house across from southern exposure in Utah (home state woot woot!). Love Jordan and the brand! I’m passionate about mealtime and have a dairy and soy allergy. As a family we enjoy veggie and plant based meals but some of my kids and husband enjoy meat. With your help, our freezer meals keep all separate that needs to be per individual. It’s amazing how much time and money we save! I remember you mentioning some of your kids have food allergies in a past video. Do you have favorite allergen friendly freezer meals or favorite food/ time hacks for strictly plant based eaters? Thank you!!
When My slow cooker lid wants to stay slightly up like that, I put a cast iron pan upside down on it to hold it until meat starts to shrink.
Wow, she is amazing! I love all her content. 🙂
Plus, take your same crockpot (no need to rinse it), throw in your chicken bones and skin, and slow cook it overnight for chicken stock.
Jordan, I've been watching your channel for a few years now. Your approach to "one for now, two for later" has helped my family SO MUCH. As is the case with so many families during the past 2 years, my husband was laid off and having a stockpile has been life-changing. We've managed to live for 5 months with little income. Thank you for all you do, and when this new paycheck hits on Friday, I'll be hitting the sales and replenishing the stash! (Not all at once though, I don't wanna be a hoarder!)
@Jordan Page I'm a previous BBC & PBC client and would love to know how you'd recommend budgeting or accounting for the crazy inflation we're seeing lately for groceries. I'm in BC, Canada where we've had some crazy natural disasters over the last year that has also contributed to our food supply and inflation of prices, but some items (like meat) have gone up nearly double what they were at this time last year and I know that's not all from supply chain issues.
nice👌😍
Hi my fav mama! How do you cook chicken and beef in the crock pot! Can you please break down or make a video please! Also, how do you use it afterwards in the recipes? Thanks a million! Love 💕
I would LOVE to see a video on what it’s like (money/budget wise) to eat out. Whether it’s fast food or sit down. We’re a family of 6 and sometimes it’s cringing 😬
Love the video!…. just a question: Why didn't you wash the chicken?
I really like the tip to add butter to the chicken. We tend not to eat as much boneless skinless chicken breast because it tends to be dry. I bet the butter helps a lot with that I'm going to try it😊
Lol I'm laughing at the fact we have the same crock pots almost. I have the small Hamilton Beach one and I also have the Same design pioneer woman one just bigger. Lol 😆 girl you got the same amount of kids as me. Get you the big pot !
When do you set aside time to do this? I want to be this good but it’s another thing to add to the to do list. What block of your day is it in?
When you re-heat ground beef, it can have an odd taste to it. But if you cook it on low in the crockpot, it does not have that odd taste when re-heated. I also add a few dashes of Bragg liquid aminos to the cooked hamburger, which gives it a great beefy taste. I store it in bags or jars, and freeze. You can also keep a jar in the fridge to use in the next couple of days. It's seriously good this way. Note that the finished product will have fairly small pieces of meat, or you can make a meatloaf out of it.
Can you please ,please do a video on how to correctly freeze meals? Mine are always burning in tthe freeze. Don't know what I am doing wrong..please
Hola… you are so awesome !
Would love to see how defreeze and make meals. How does the cheese look? What types of recipes do you use? Any tips? This was very useful!!
