Agoge Diet really took my diet to the next level. Not only diet, but life. I can see improvements in many aspects of my life. Guys, you rock! #*Agoge Diet*
If you want an even easier version that’s big on flavor look up Bal Arneson aka the spice goddess, The recipe is called no butter chicken. A one pot curry, super easy and only 242 Calories a serving. I swear that dish started my love of Indian cooking.
The only thing that i think would be better, if the chicken would be cut in to small pieces, marinate it and then put it in to the oven and later in to the pan. #soulfulspices
Wonderful presentation! Thank you. Adding a "curry powder" is perhaps, too vague. There are numerous curry powders each with a specific and sometimes radically different flavour. Chicken tikka cooked with one curry powder, would taste very different if cooked with a different curry powder (eg.Madras Curry powder, Keens Curry powder, Kuppaswarmy's Curry powder etc.etc. see https://www.epicurious.com/ingredients/the-supermarket-curry-powder-actually-worth-buying-article). Does it matter? Perhaps it would differentiate a superb tikka masala chicken curry from a very forgettable one with too much chilli! Thank you for the presentation which I enjoyed. You are a great communicator!
fat doesn't translate into body fat, carbohydrate does. carbs are chains of sugars that raise the hormone insulin which stores excess sugar as fat. in fact the well known keto diet increases your fat intake to keep insulin low. I'm so surprised Tom doesn't know that. See Prof. Tim Noakes for more info.
Beautiful Tom. The food looked lovely too 😋
Made this earlier, very nice dish. I used chicken breasts and they worked well. Thanks for the recipe.
To be fair normally Indians only use like one pot for curry because most of the Indians don't own a oven in India
Mate that’s a balti, tikka masala is made with cream. Balti is made with yoghurt

Can I not cook the whole chicken ?
Me in quarantine literally want to start cook and find all food tutorials
Me use to not really love to cook
And now I love cooking is fun
Chicken tikka is not high in fat though.
On a strict diet, but ya know eyeball all the ingredients 🤣

What is curry powder?

at least he pronounces turmeric correctly, Jamie Oliver keeps saying "chewmeric"

I dont think yoghurt is fat free mate lol
I WOULD NEVER EAT SOMETHING HE MADE, SO MUCH SPIT IN IT.
Wow..it is beautiful
Tom you look Great! 👊
I can't take seriously any recipe that uses "curry" powder. Ask an Indian if they'd use it in a tikka masala and I'm sure they'd laugh in your face.
Proof: All good cooks have a British accent.
I just use a low calorie tikka sauce jar with diced chicken and rice it comes to 360 calories
Waw
Wow that's exactly what I have been looking for! Thank you so much
paprikur
Nice presentation. Thank you for sharing. New cooking tricks to learn,
anybody know which blowtorch it is that Tom uses?
don't make chicken tikka masala if you're on a diet then :/ go eat salad n shit
Leave overnight? 2 hours in the oven? It's faster just to get a ready-meal lol!
WHAT IF I WANT TO GAIN WEIGHT YOU ARSE.
but you can't eat chicken tikka masala without rice.
you just can't.
640 calories per serving? Diet/low fat recipe my ass
Whoops. Editing mistake. At 2:04, the onions in the pan are sliced into strips. At 2:20, the onions are very finely diced.
Keep the FAT in and reduce or eliminate the carbs! Add a few slabs of bacon!
Lol at all the comments bitching about the rice. You don't eat this everyday do you? Its just a lower calorie version of a very decadent dish.
enjoy the real tikka masala from INDIA https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qm5X9nXyl8I
Still not better than how we invented it.
Is it just me or this guy looks like he just got out of prison.
