    Thanks for your recipe it looks yummy 😋 but because tabouli is Arabic salad and I’m an Arabic fan of you please you can’t say tabouli for this salad.. the definition of tabouli tons of parsley you can use quinoa instead of burgle tomato red onion mint salt &pepper pomegranate molasses a little.. so simple. With respect 😘

    That is a very nice salad …But its not Tabbouleh …Tabbouleh is middle Eastern salad made mostly of finely chopped parsley, with tomatoes, mint, onion, bulgur, and seasoned with olive oil, lemon juice, salt and sweet pepper.

    You used the word Tabouli in your recipie.
    I'm not going to pull punches. Tabouli is a very specific dish.

    1: Scallions? No. Onions, my dear. Red Onions.
    2: Quinoa isn't in tabouli. You did call it Quinoa tabouli so I'll let this slide. Traditional tabouli, however, is made with chickpeas. You already have chickpeas, so I don't see the need to add quinoa as well. Chickpeas have protein.
    3: Holy shit, you actually remembered to bring mint? Congratulations. You are more traditional than like 99.9999% of white people making med salad.
    4: If you don't like onions, Mediterranean food isn't for you. Use onions. Scallions are for white people.
    5: "You can use any crunchy seasonal vegetable" No. don't lie to the people. You use Cucumbers, tomatoes, red onions, kalamata olives, and maybe bell pepper. (Or, alternatively, since you're using the word "tabouli" you could go the Lebanese method and make a huge bed of parsley and mint instead of cucumbers.) If some dude adds summer squash and eggplant, it ceases to be Tabouli and becomes some white people shit.
    7: Dressing: Where the hell is the vinegar? Its called Vinegarrete because it's made out of VINEGAR. Also, classic blunder. You used oil as your base and mixed the dressing in a bowel. Oil seals vegetables. all that "seasoning flavor" you're going on about? none of it is going to permeate your vegetables.

    How to properly dress a Mediterranean salad:
    Mix lemon juice, salt, pepper, lemon zest, mint, dill, oregeno, and red vinegar. Dress and toss.
    Afterward, dress and toss with olive oil. This allows your dressing to actually marinate into your salad, which oil prevents. Tabouli my ass.

    8: Another note. You said tabouli, not greek salad. Now I'm not going to diss someone for cucumbers, lemon zest, and feta. that shit is legit. However, Tabouli often does NOT have cheese. You get your protein from bulgar and chickpeas. Lady, Why are you calling this tabouli? It doesn't resemble anything from Iran or the levant.

    9: This isn't tabouli. This is white boomer cosplays as a middle eastern salad.

    Please do not call this tabbouli, call it Quinoa salad. I am from the Middle East. Tabbouli is mostly parsley and little Bulgur. For this amount of Quinoa you need 3 bunches of parsley. Original Tabbouli does not have cheese or chick peas!!
